According to the Korea Appraisal Board, a 244 sq.m apartment at Prugio WorldMark will run you 10.5 million won (USD$8,900) a month with a 100 million won deposit.
As is usually the case, it has a lot to do with location. Prugio WorldMark is easily accessible by Subway Line Nos. 2 and 8, close to the Han River Park, Seokchon Lake and Olympic Park and within walking distance to the Lotte World Mall.
Busan’s iPark, near Haeundae Beach, also ranked as one of the super expensive at 7 million won a month.
The Korea Appraisal Board report also said that the average monthly rent for an apartment in Seoul will cost you W813,000 with the nationwide average coming in at W560,000.
