A collaboration between Korea’s less well-known IT vendor TG&Co, mobile carrier SK Telecom and Foxconn, a Taiwanese manufacturing company has produced a less expensive new smartphone called “Luna”.

She first hit the market on Sept. 4, retailing for 449,900 won ($380) with specs that are actually higher than many of its peers in the mid-range peers and comparable to Samsung’s previous flagship Galaxy S5 model.

Luna, with her 5.5-inch display features 4G technology along with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor and an impressive 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Though SK has declined to give exact numbers, word is that Luna has already sold out several times on SKT’s official online store, and the there have been shortages due to higher-than-expected demand.
